Kiara is an interior designer who has been passionate about elevating spaces since she was about 11 years old. She has been a design consultant in the making for at least two decades. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Interior Design from the University of Alabama. After graduating, Kiara began designing for friends and family while simultaneously building her career in construction. She soon discovered her passion for creating authentic spaces as she designed for her friends and family.

Kiara’s career has thrived in the construction industry for 10+ years, where she has picked up the skillsets of project management and estimating through different construction trades. She is a firm believer that well rounded design is not just making things pretty. The process of how it is done is just as valuable. Management of projects with vendors and contractors can make or break a project if proper systems are not in place. She brings with her those elements from her years of experience to provide an excellent experience to her clients.

Kiara is from Montgomery, AL, but is planted in Birmingham, AL with her husband and daughter. When she is not designing, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading a good book, maintaining her plant babies, blogging, and writing poetry.
